The ‘One Exercise’ Secret for Shedding Fat

Here is a simple fat burning tip you can use right now.  This works especially well for most people because it’s a radical departure from what you’ve been doing.

One of the many problems with traditional low intensity long duration cardio is that of diminishing returns.  As your body becomes more efficient, you will begin to burn fewer calories for the same workout and your results will eventually come to a grinding halt.  Many people either get frustrated and quit, or they go in the wrong direction by thinking they need to make their workouts longer.

Making a long workout even longer is NOT the way to get results!  Putting more work into the same amount of workout time or the same amount of work into less time is a much more effective approach.  Not to mention, who has hours and hours a day to train?  Lottery winners, maybe! That’s about it!

You should do this for two particular exercises – squats and deadlifts.

Both of these exercises are two of the best fat burning and muscle building exercises around.  They work a lot of muscle at one time, they get your entire body moving, they have a cardio benefit when done for higher reps, and they can boost your metabolism for some serious calorie burning AFTER the workout!

And if you do them the right way, you also get a surge in the powerful fat burning hormone, growth hormone, which melts away body fat like butter!  Oh yeah!

For your next back workout, give this a try.  Do ONLY the deadlift.

Do the deadlift for ONE set.

Here’s the kicker.  Don’t go down to the floor on your deadlifts.  Just lower the bar a few inches below your kneecaps.  In fact, you could start the bar off the ground in a power rack if you want.

Now, do 40 reps.  Yes, seriously.  You won’t believe what this feels like compared to your normal back workout.  And if you don’t know exactly what muscles the deadlifts hit, you will after this.

You’ll feel it in your shoulders, traps, upper back, lower back, hamstrings, arms, butt (here that, ladies?), you name it.

And if you don’t think you can get cardio benefits from weight training, you’ll change your mind.

Try doing ONLY this for your back workout for 4 to 8 weeks and see what happens.

Oh, and if you feel like you have to rest, do so at the top of a rep, don’t put the bar down.

This is really TOUGH.  And it works for getting lean.  It’s for you, too, ladies!  Don’t shy away from intense workouts because you’re afraid of getting bulky.  It’s not going to happen.

Can I eat solid food during the lemonade diet?

The original lemonade diet (master cleanse) invented by Stanley Burroughs suggested that the lemon diet should be a juice fasting diet lasting for 10-days with NO solid food consumed at all. However, is this a myth? Can I still eat food during the lemonade diet? Let us find out below:

Some Information about the Lemonade Diet

First let’s see a brief description and introduction about the master cleanse diet.

Sometimes our bodies can suppress toxins and fat created by improper diet, lack of exercise and negative mental attitudes, and we are now discovering that just adding lemon juice to our diets can be a pivotal factor in weight loss as it is an acidic appetite suppressant. Not for everyone but can help jump-start a new and “cleaner” you. The 10-day Master Cleanse Diet, otherwise known as The Lemonade Diet by the late Naturopath Stanley Burroughs, has been helping people lose weight and regain vitality for 70 years with its varied, all-natural lemonade drinks.

Below are some directions about how to do the lemonade diet (διαιτα) juice:

Start by rolling a Lemon on the cutting board to get it nice and juicy. Cut the lemon along it’s belly and grind the lemon on the juicer. Do this until you have juiced half your lemons or until you have no more room in your juicer.

Pour the lemon juice into a cup so it can be easily measured into the tablespoon measures. Measure out 7 Tablespoons of lemon juice and pour into the 1 liter water bottle.

Next using the same tablespoon measure add 7 Tablespoons of maple syrup into the bottle. Finally add your cayenne pepper if you choose to add it to the lemonade (optionally you can make your cayenne capsules to take periodically throughout the day.)

Repeat this process for the second bottle. You will end up with 2 bottles of the Lemonade that you will sip on throughout the day. You can take as much water as you would like while on the Lemonade Diet. I usually end up taking a 2-1 Lemonade to Water ratio.

The solid food myth

If you look on the internet about the original master cleanser lemonade diet, all you are supposed to drink for a minimum of 10 days is only the liquid concoction described above (no solid food). It does work and actually cleanses out your system and removes toxins, but you then have to gradually introduce food to it again. People have lost up to 20 pounds on this system. However, when they start eating again, weight starts to come back.

Well, I’ve got news for you. Doctors say that you don’t have to abstain from solid food eating for this mixture to be good for you! You of course should be eating light such as fruits and vegetables but you don’t have to spend the whole 10-days of the diet without solid food. This is good news for people like me who want the benefits but have difficulty to go for a long period without actually eating any food. Yes if you don’t eat you’ll remove from your body more “bad stuff” like toxins out of your cells but also your body has to be strong enough that once the toxins get pulled to get rid of it.

The best option to go for the master cleanser diet is to eat some solid food during the fasting period. Taking for example the lemonade diet pills, they come with a suitable diet plan during which you can eat food and still lose weight and also clean the toxins.

If you do think you are strong enough to do the full diet all you have to do is drink only the tonic lemon juice, as in several times a day in place of food, and at night you need to drink a senna tea (laxative) tea. You do this for a 10 day minimum. When you get back on food you need to introduce it s-l-o-w-l-y.
